what can i do? i just like writing stuff mostly...... not so good at the tech stuff!!

think it'd be an idea to do something like this for each issue

1 - mod feature - one of the mods and their tanks -Yes
2 - disease feature - focus on one disease and details of how it happens, how to cure, different meds etc -Yes
3 - beginners article - just something fairly basic for people just starting out -Yes
4 - in depth article - summat sciency or indepth on one aspect of fish keeping, something a bit more advanced basically-Yes
5 - species profile - just pick one species each month and do a detailed profile for it-Yes
+
6 - Member of the month
7 - Picture of the month
8 - Peters agony aunt
and some others.

then some ad hoc features each month

Hokay then, im just going to start making up a prelim team just now in case im allowed. (Ive made a post for the mods).

Tag: If you could possibly make me up a TFF themed newsletter template on PS then send the PSD to me that would be fantastic.

Also any colour schem? and are there any forum Images I can incorperate or does anyone have any nice copyright free images we can use?

If you ask William i am sure he will let you use the banner logo t the top.

Be good if each week you could get someone to write about something in each section of the forum e.g Betta's, African Cichlids, New World, Brackish etc, so each week has a different feel to it

Well, the main look of the news letter should fit in with the forums theme as it is going to be posted in the newsletter section (hopefully) instead of being posted. If you could put in the logo at the very top (if you dont mind william!) that would be good aswell. We will ofcourse give complete copyrights and credit to everything.

Size wize, just good enough to fit in with a post and fit in all of our columns, on that matter, columns.

yeah i agree with that, like a 'focus on....' for the month

i think monthly would be better than weekly, give people time to write things and also less likely to run out of interesting things to write about after 6 months!!

If anyone has photoshop then they could get any picture then go over the outlines with a black line, delete the image and you will have a colourless picture! Make any additions you want then

Right I can use the current site logo and have make a quick example , this is just a screen dump and not a PSD if anyones wondering..
