Alot of that so-called wildlife has been dumped there by thoughtless and irresponsible owners who got fed up with their animals or couldn't take care of them properly....pythons are a huge issue in Florida, they are not a native species and they are decimating the animals that are native.

Dont they even have monkey's? I think I heard something on that

The bulk of Florida is swamp and wetlands with not alot of trees compared to drier regions of the US, hence the Everglades. Monkeys don't generally do wet stuff unless they get dumped there by idiots. There are palm trees in Florida but mostly its wetlands and sinkholes and mushy ground that gets reclaimed to build on.
