Stranger Things

So I noticed one of my swordtails had a small plant stem sticking out of it's side....like it had been stabbed! (Abbey said "she's got a plant growing out of her side".)
Well, I never saw that before!
I netted the fish and pulled the plant piece out with a pair of small needle nose pliers. Will need to watch to see if she heals okay. I'm not sure how it happened.

Hope it will be ok! That's an awfully sharp plant! Lol.
