Stone Or Sand

hi all
in my rio 125 i have small stone substrate the thing is how easy would it be to change over to a sand base and how would i go about changing it? would i have to remove all the fish first then clear out the stones and then add the sand?

yes u will have to strip it out and net the stones out maybe even take the water out and change over if u dont want a cloudy tank then take the water ouy m8

Take out fish, drain the tank down so about 20% of the water is left, remove substrate, add sand, fill up, add fish.

Buy toysrus play sand though, as it contains no silt, unlike the argos stuff.
