Stocking Suggestions

Hi, looking for ANY stocking suggestions for a 48ltr Fishbox, was set up for shel dwellers but is sitting empty and cleaned, filter running in another tank so media fine.
Open to any suggestions, what would you guys put in it?

You could also put a single honey or dwarf gourami, pygmy cories for the bottom, borara species... enough choice!

Is 48 litres really of a size to be considered as micro??

Not in my book

Planted shrimp tank with some micro rasbora, and a few nerite snails.

its small but not micro but I think that decent sized tanks with micro fish are awesome I want to do a 20-30g with just micro fish in one day

48ltrs ain't micro at all!

I would go with corys, rasboras, shrimp, lots of plants

I'm in the same boat, I gave my sister a micro tank a few years ago and she's giving it back now, so I am thinking about what to have, the choices are endless!

5 Neolamprogus Multifacitias, or however it's spelt (multies)

In the past, I've stocked 50-60 litre tanks with the following (all that worked really nicely for me)

- Micro Rasboras (Celestial Pearls/Coffee Bean etc.) with a Male Betta, Cherry Shrimp and Dwarf Frogs
- Trio of Threadfin Rainbowfish, Normans Lampeyes with Pygmy Corydoras, Shrimp and lots of dense planting
- Female Betta Sorority
- Bumblebee Gobies, Frogs and Black Neons

I've never tried Dwarf Puffers, but would like to
Also smaller species of Shelldwellers
Or a 'Finding Nemo' Clown Fish if you have kids, they would love that

I have an 8 litre tank at work on my desk.
20cm cubed. Thats micro

Stocked with 3 cherry shrimp, couple of snails, and a single wild rainbow fish fry that came in as an egg on some plants.

He will be removed shortly, and traded into the LFS when big enough to get me some store credit

Clown fish ("Nemo") are salt water fish though?

If it were me I'd get a few Platys and some Corys btw........but it's all down to what you like :0

Hi, got 6 Neolamprologus Multifasciatus (Multis) in there already but toying with the idea of passing them on, looking for inspiration.....

Yes the top ones are the same thing and they are awesome, I want some more, I loved mine
I've never heard of the 3 following that in the list, so can't comment, but you can have shrimp and snails and african dwarf frogs in with your CPD's, awesome spectrum, heavily planted etc. drooling at I type!x
