stocking question

corys look pretty sweet :)

what do you mean when you say keep up with water changes? do they have special needs, or are they quite messy?

No, cories aren't particularly messy..... (not as bad as oranda goldfish, anyway.)

I'm just saying that since you have male and female guppies, you will soon have mucho guppy fry. Just say you had 3 cories and the guppies. The guppies will breed, and you will probably be above your stocking limit. So if you do end up with a few more fish than reccommended for your tank, keep on top of water changes so the ammonia doesn't build up too much.

Good luck with your tank!

thankyou :)

i shall have to write down a list of what people have said i could have here, and see what is available at the shop and what i like best!

You're welcome. :D Post some pic when you get the tank finished.

i would do but my camera is terrible at taking photos of them :(

ive read the article on how to as well and still no luck!

i got my other two female guppies today, and have booked 3 cories to collect tomorrow!

the two new female guppies are larger than the ones i have already (about twice the size of the male!) and they seem to follow each other around everywhere!

theyre quite small, look quite brown and are only about £2 each.

Does it look like this?

If so, it's a bronze cory. :)

they are Corydoras Paleatus,

and i've just got 3 of 'em!

has anyone got any tips on how to feed them or anything? i've got the right sinking food, but the guppies seem to be more interested in it than them! hehe
