Stocking 10 Gallon?

so im hoping to get a 5 gallon started, so i can move my DP out of my 10gallon and into the 5 gallon.

Any ideas for when he moves out?

will a school of harlequin rasboras, and like 2 black khuli loaches be overdooing it? Anyother ideas would be appreciated! thanks!

Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me, given the early hour and season of little sunshine, but isn't the general rule 10g per small species puffer?

Hengels Rasbora (with the upside down copper "Nike" sign) might be more appropriate for a 10g, being smaller, plus going for 6-10 Kuhli Loaches will infinitely increase the odds of you actually seeing them after acclimitisation.

Don't forget that rasbora need to be in groups of 6 or more! A heavily planted done correctly would forgive a little bit of overstock. Just keep up with the water changes!

Dwarf Puffer? I have heard conflicting information on this species. Some sources say that they are good for 5g, while other say no less than 30g. I would probably keep him in the 10g, if not upgrade.

It isn't just how big a fish gets that decides what tank it is kept in. Dwarf puffers happen to be really messy, and from what I've heard, diffecult to keep Nitrates under control. They are also alctive swimmers, which means if they don't have the swim space, they wont swim enough, and they kept keep up with there fast motabolism.

Might be fine in a 10, but wouldn't go lower. Just my opinion, though.

Thanks guy/girls! When it comes to dwarf puffers I think of myself as a bit more than a novice as ive read ever sprig of info on these awesome puffers! The general rule of thumb is 5 gallons per dwarf puffer, although that usually applies to a more territorial rule it still is a good indicator for the size of tank this fish can be housed in. Im planning on keeping up on everyother day waterchanges since it is true they can get messy. Its mainly because of the leftover shrimp parts that get scattered accross the tank adter they eat or leftover bits attached to the 'used to be alive' snails. So dont worry because im pretty sure ive got this topic covered (there is allways room to learn!, as im not an expert) So if you guys have anything else related to the puffer topic please let me know! Id be more than willing to take in advice, or suggestions!
-Getting back on topic, I was thinking about it more and am wondering about the microrasboras (exclamatory mark rasboras) with the khuli loaches.

so how many of these small rasboras?
