A True Oddball
just a quick addition to the ID of the stickle back there are 3 main species in the UK
Fresh water:
3 spined Stickleback
6 spined Stickleback
Brackish
15 spined Stickle back
I used to see stickleback all the time when I used to go fly fishing, but I havent fished for about 7years, but before that I hadnt seen any for years. They are lovely fish, especially the male 3 spined sticklebacks they are a lovely red and green.
I hope you have some success in rehoming them
