I was thinking of getting another tank, but I would like it to be white rather than the common black or silver. Therefore I wondered if it would be possible to spray it white instead. Is it possible to spray the hood (and other such areas) of a tank a different colour? Would I need any special spray paint to do so that was aquarium safe, or could I use any regular spray paint designed for the material (probably pastic)? Would I be able to do it with other things such as overtank lighting (eg Arc Pods)?

Thanks :good:

Do you want to spray the back and/or the outside or inside of the hood?

The back can be spayed white, just by using normal spray paint.
The hood can be sprayed too if it's plastic, if it's wood you should use water repellent wood paint.

I hope it helped, I didn't quite understand what you are trying to paint :(

It'd just be the outside of the hood I think and any other black/silver parts of the outside of the tank (rims, etc). Sorry I wasn't clear enough, I should have been more specific :good:
