I started by looking for African bio film eaters, and there are garras from Africa that would work in an aquarium , they are just from an area not many fish are harvested so, almost never are available for aquarium trade… it seems to be a pretty big family ( there are more than just the panda and Dr. fishes ) I found some gotyla (silver garra ), I may try… sound like they do eat a lot of bio film and algae… they do get bigger ( up to 6 inch’s ), so not for smaller tanks… anyone ever tried any, other than the common flavatra ( panda ) or the rufa ( doctor )???
