Went to feed tonight and was getting ready for the gourami in the qt tank to be moved into the main 55 in the morning. Noticed one of them had something wrong with one of it's ventral fins. It looks like the fin was split down the middle. Maybe the fin got sucked into the filter, or caught on the driftwood? It is not an emergency, but should I be concerned? I am looking for a second opinion, since I think it should heal up fine in the main tank.
Ammonia is 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 10.
Qt currently has 5 pearl gourami and 1 accidental guppy. They have been in qt for 3 weeks tomorrow.

The decorations are just live bucopa plants, hornwort, frogbit, duckweed, water lettuce, and a single piece of driftwood. Sand substrate.

It will heal, all things being equal, but it might heal with the split permanent, then again it might grow together. The pearl gourami that I use as my profile picture broke one of his feeler fins, it healed but it has a permanent kink in it now, the damage doesn't bother him. I would watch to see if the fish is having issues with other inhabitants of the tank, but that is primary for an abundance of caution.

If it acts fine and eats fine, no big deal, if no bullying is occurring...

What size is the QT tank?...what is the M/F ratio of the pearls?

They are still unsexed, but there are five of them. The QT is a 36" inch 30 gallon flatback hexagon tank. Longer and lower.
