Spawning Mop

DO you use nylon wool to make a spawning mopl! Need to know ASAP as i need to tell my mum to buy it!But would the dye run into the water?

Acrylic yarn is usually used, some use nylon rope. Rinse them with tap water first to remove any stray fuzz, this can mess up filters, particularly impellers & shafts.
