Limnophila sessiliflora is possibly the easiest plant I have grown in my Biube so far so I'm sure it'd be amazing in a pressurised CO2 tank! Even with a tiny 3 LED light and only easycarbo/ no ferts the stuff grows abosuletly brilliantly and looks much better than Cabomba. Go for it!
Here's a pic which really demonstrates how beautiful it looks:
It does look a little nicer than cabomba for sure, cheers for the idea
Got my inline diffuser fitted tonight.
Couple of pics
I managed to flood about 10 litres of water onto the floor when the pipe decided to come out of the grip joint on the diffuser when putting it back into place. Wife wasnt to pleased!
Cant say i was overly happy with the fittings, had to hand tighten instead of using a spanner like you can on the filter joints.
Anyway, bubble counter also in and job done. turned it right up and got a massive cloud of CO2 into the tank so deffinaetly working, now reset it back to about 4/5 bubs a second. Lets see if the drop checker goes lime tomorrow!
It goes on the outlet pipe after the filter so goes through the cermaic then into the flow of water. Yeah, its laminate, wont do any harm though, its pretty good stuff. I thought it was quite funny, had my finger stuck in a pipe to stop it pissing every where and couldnt really move anywhere lol.
I can image you sat there for some reason laughing with the pipe on your finger and your missus running around like a headless chicken when the water went all over, hehe.
Shoved in some JBL root tabs today, mainly for the Amazon Swords and Crypts, never had any luck with the Swords, although they have HUGE roots whenever i remove them. bleh.
Moved my Windelov from this tank to my 90 litre last week, just as an experiment. It only gets 4 hours of light a day and is being used as a grow out tank for my cory fry. All the dark gunk on the leaves has disapeared and all the tops are bright green and flourishing. I knew it did well in low light, it didnt have to rub it in though
