Sorry, Got Another Question

Hello everyone
You all probably know by now that Im getting the jewel lido and I Intend on getting some sand in the bottom and having it as a heavily planted tank. Anyway looking at photos of the lido, my tank hasn't yet arrived, I realised the the filter box goes straight down to the very base of the tank. so if I have sand, it will need to be very deep, will it all just get sucked into the filter box and jam it all up or is it designed not to?
Does anyone know?

So the sand defiantly wont be sucked at the bottom?

No. The bottom should be sealed and the vents shouldn't start until further up to clear the substrate etc. I believe Westwood has the same tank, so maybe drop him a PM to make sure.
