Something To Replace Java Moss With For Aqua Scape Tree

I was wondering what all I could use in place of java moss for my aquascape tree. I can't seem to find java moss here locally. I just want something that will give the same effect.

Would ludwigia work?

Moss would be the best option. Riccia Fluitans would work as would Round Pellia. Any moss would be suitable too, it doesn't have to be Java.
