Those are from a blanket I did for my cousin's wedding present.. the words are embroidered with a really easy stitch. It was light blue fleece on the bottom with
grey fleece on top and two light blue fleece rings interlocking, with their names and the wedding date embroidered on it.

One of the quilts I'm still working on.. I'm about to clean up my room so when I do, I'll spread out my crazy quilt and take a pic of that and add it.

Aww, thanks Nidge! :*)

It was awesome when I gave that blanket to my cousin.. he's in the army, so he doesn't get much special stuff.. but he takes that with him when he gets deployed, because that way he's reminded of his family, and of his wife waiting for him back home.

I made him open it up on the morning of the wedding.. I actually jumped on him in bed til he got up! He ripped into it, unfolded it, and when he realized I'd made it for him he got tears in his eyes..
Dammit, I miss him.

I'm not! Sorry littlefishie, your just not my type :p You're a beautiful girl though

As for the quilts...They're awesome! I love the blanket you did for your cousin's wedding. How long does it take you to make a quilt? I'm guessing it takes awhile :dunno:

Haha, thanks Whiskerz. :D

The blanket was about a week of work, the stitching around the edge took the longest cos it was all by hand.

The red/black/blue quilt is STILL not done, and I started it back in September! It's my first quilt that I'm doing by hand. I pieced the squares and the top together by machine, but the actual quilting process is all hand work. It's exhausting, but it's about 2/3 done.

The one I'm going to post when I get home [I rearranged my entire room last night so now I have space to stretch it out] actually didn't take as long as it should, and it was more complicated than the red/black/blue one. It's a crazy patchwork quilt, twin size, and it took me about a month to finish completely. But that was during the summer, so it'd be like work, quilt while watching TV, see boyfriend, sleep. Nothing major to worry about. ;) Now I've got uni to worry about, so I can't quilt as much.

OMG i want one like that! Black velvet pieces with flame pieces ;-)

You are very talented
Mm.. that'd be gorgeous.. the flame fabric is actually left over from a pair of pants I made once.. they were awesome, spelled out DEVIL across the bum in white letters..
Only trouble is you're supposed to use 100% cotton for quilting, I don't think velvet would work.. though I did use silk, so meh.. why not? ;)

And OTP.. you're too cute. I can't do everything!

I can't speak any language other than English, French, and Spanish.
Also can't sing as high as necessary to do proper opera which sucks, cos I love it.

Aaaaand up until this weekend, I couldn't stop having bad taste in guys!
That's changed, though. ;)
Pica, you'd be proud.. I've come a long way since we last talked.
