Some neat fish at my LFS

Oh I know they know and they shouldn't but still...

Its a shame in US in particular as you guys have GloFish which must be the same kind of appeal and without the cruelty. Its hard if all your stores sell them, I have 2 near me that sell a lot of monster fish that I never go to and never tell people to go to and I have 1 that I've seen dyed fish in a few times but I have 3-4 stores that dont do either so I'm lucky. Plus I also like to travel to really stand out stores around the UK

The koi fish are MASSIVE. I think those are mosquito fish swimming with them.

there are halfbeaks at sale at my lfs, is 7-8 usd a good amount for small silver ones?

Crowned pigeon I think! He was pecking at the glass with increasing frustration when he couldn’t get to the delicious morsels.

I got the $15 refillable soda cup when I first got there and I got at least 10 refills I lost count during the 10 hours I was there. pretty sure caffeine is running through my veins at this point

I underestimated the size of the zoo

I’m not a fit person at all and I had just done another 10 hours at Disney the day before and my shins are screaming and my left knee partially locked.

Like the hippos exhibit, Tiger, bears, the bird aviaries, the penguins actually had leopard sharks in their waters. San Diego has an actual aquarium too that I haven’t been too but apparently it’s small.
