Some neat fish at my LFS

there are halfbeaks at sale at my lfs, is 7-8 usd a good amount for small silver ones?
also are they peaceful?

Well overhere, they'd be cheaper. Well, they can be peaceful with other sturdy fish. But I wouldn't combine them with very peaceful fish. They tend to become dominant at the surface. I keep mine with splitfins (goodeids).

Well, overhere we just pay about €3,00 each.
Well, it doesn't have to be goodeids. Also other fish that are a bit sturdy.

You have a NICE pet store there... I love their fish and reptile selection!

They had such a sexy fish selection. It was HUGE. And they had such lovely guppies with large blue shimmery tails (bought some whoops) and a lot of gourami / angelfish. And they a salt fish section and they had a crap ton of plants and even a large selection of tarantulas

I've never heard someone say a pet store had a "sexy" fish selection

But yes they do look real nice.

So many exotic fish...

Today is dedicated to looking at as many fish stores as possible in San Diego before I go home to LA!

The aquatic warehouse is mostly saltwater.

There was another place I went to called Pet Zone Tropical Fish. Had only tropical fish but it was so clean and sleek. They had baby albino bristlenose, other than that they had a pot of standard fish and some good deals on plants! Nothing overly exotic but still very healthy and good. Had a LOT of customers. Apparently today just so happened to be their 6th anniversary so they were having killer discounts. Actually the very last picture in the above post was from their store.

Only one place I’ve gone hasnt been great…. The fish all looked lethargic, only 10% had lights so it was very dark, and the store was throughly covered in the horrid smell of urine.

When I say this I am saying it seriously:

I will try my best to not do this in the future BUT I do not promise that I won't do it... I let stuff slip sometimes and forget stuff easily especially if others are doing it.
I like a good laugh and I don't do enough of it in real life so I do it on here. I'm sorry and will try to think more...
