So Much To Learn

Feel a bit down, I have cycled my tank to perfection = 10,I know about water changes =10, I dont know the names of most fish =0, I don't know where in the world they come from = 0, I am useless at plants =0 is there an easy way out.....

The only way out is to donate all your equipment and fish to me. I can collect any time.

Seriously though, the things you mention come with experience. Once you have been in the hobby a while you will pick them up. Start with easy care plants such as Anubias, Cryptocoryne and Java Fern. If you like those then expand to moss. Once you have these growing you may want to try your hand at more demanding plants, by which time you will have had more time to learn about them. Same with fish really. I have been in the hobby for around 2 years and have owned more different types than i have had hot dinners.
