I went and picked up a 75 gallon tank on CL for $75 today. The guy just resealed it for me and has had it filled with water for 2 weeks.

Awesome deal and the dude was less than 10mins from my house!

I need to figure out a stand & get me some substrate and a new LED light.

I'm so excited!

I was able to save a RTBS & an Angel fish from a going out of business sale at one of the big box lfs.

The RTBS was in such bad condition that I thought he was an albino. He was a very light grey with a white tail. He was $2 so I figured at the very least I could give him some comfort in his last days (he looked near death) However it looks like he might pull though!

He's currently living with the angel & my baby tiger barbs in the 29 gal biocube 'halfway house' with a friendly supernova crayfish. His deep black color has returned and his tail is halfway red again (he's only been with me about 2 weeks so far) so I'm hoping once he settles in the new 75 Gal he'll be fine.

The Angelfish had severe finrot and some sort of slimecoat infection. I've been treating him in the hospital tank and released him back into the halfway house this sunday. It looks like he made a full recovery!
