Snakeheads

hi i was in my lfs today and to my shock i saw tank of around 10 snakeheads around 5 inches long. i asked about them and the guy selling them said the get to 4 foot long and you need a tank of 6 feet. i am near sure i read about snakeheads being illegal to sell in ireland and the uk so im not sure.... anyone know??

no i have two drawf snakeheads and theres a few on here with larger beautiful snakeheads,,,on another forum iam on there 100s of people in the uk with snakeheads,,,they are sexy fish

id agree they are a lovley colour but no way would i get any they would bust my tank in no time

It depends on 1st tank size and what species you want,,, I have two drawf Channa-ornatipinnis. There worth having a species tank for and guess what, you do not need a heater with this perticular snakehead as there sub tropical

well my tank 3 foot.... these ones wer a lovely red pinky color and are going to grow to four foot

yes that sounds to me like the gaint snakehead....super sexy but need a huge tank,,,there red at first but google them to see the finished results
