My son has just spotted a small snail in our tank.
Seems to be climbing up and down the tank glass...
Any thoughts...?

pluck it out unles you (litterally) want thousands more just like that im not kiding

Many of the little hitchhiker snails breed asexually so you can end up with an infestation. Unless you have fish that eat them it's best to remove them. I'm keeping all mine as I will have a small puffer that eats them, otherwise best to get them out.

As above, get rid!! I had some come in with some plants I bought and didn't rinse them.....bad mistake.

I am continually picking them out now, so if you see one, get it out!!

Same happened to me, but found removing them didn't work... I've accepted them being there but now have several assassin snails who go around keeping the numbers in check.

I found just two assasin snails killed every pest snail in my tank. I'm putting new pest snails in for them to eat now!
