My 5 gal dwarf puffer tank is full of plants so i decided to take the rim and built in filter out so my 25 watt lamp could equaly shine on all the plants. i put the used media into the new filter...its the smallest fluval internal filter. the old filter would drop a few bubbles in and i just realized this one doesnt. will it be ok with no bubbles?

if i need the bubbles i was going to double up on art deco nano filters.

As long as there is water flow, ripples around the surface you should be fine, silly question, but cant you angle the flow from the fluval to break the surface?

Providing that there is plenty of water agitation and surface moment, they should be fine.

Yes I brought it up so its skims the surface...you can't turn the outflow of the smallest fluval model...thanks tho I can rest assured
