hi again guys :)

have been getting some green algae growing on my stone and air stone, it is really hard to clean and its a hassle taking out the air stone so i was thinking of a small algae eater that would suit a 60 litre, my cherries have been munching on some but not enough, i also have some algae on my glass (i could easily clean that tho)

I also think its about time  a new addition was added to the tank :)

anybody got any ideas, oh and i could switch off the air stone to let the fish eat the algae :)

maybe some shrimp or a nerite snail. depending on your stock you could have a group of otos, i wouldnt reccomend a sismease algae eater because they are know to be terrotorial and suck on fish.

3 or 4 Otocinclus could work. The only other option would be snails like Assassin Snail and Nerite Snails.

Yeah my LFS has a fish titled algae eater for £2.45 but I fear it is the Siamese one. Was looking at some ottos but aren't they sensitive ?

Take a picture and post it if you want to be sure :)

Yeah next time I visit the LFS ill take a pic

I've got one of those octos Blondie! From p@h but he is still a cute little guy!
