Sick Betta

I came home and my betta was at the bottom of his tank, not moving much and laying on his side. I changed his water two days ago, but he seemed fine earlier. I have moved him to a cup with new treated water and he is moving a bit more. Though he seems to swim to the top for a bit, then sink to the bottom for a bit until he panics and swims back to the top. Anyone know what could be wrong?

The tank is 5 gallons and I use betta water conditioner to treat it. He is by himself in the tank. Tomorrow I'm testing the other water specs, but thats all I know for now

He needs to get back in to his tank as fast as possible, he won't act normally until he is in his happy place,

Do a large water change on his tank and put him back

Change all the water or just 50%?

75% make sure you use conditioner

I put him back in his tank and had to turn off thr filter because he was being thrown around by it. He also fell to the bottom and is just laying there

He swam to the middle of the tank and is floating there now

To me it looks like the tank may have had an ammonia spike. Hopefully he will recover.

Uh, no, he's at the bottom and I can't see his gills moving. Though he hasn't floated to the top

It seems he is dying. I don't think he will make it. Did you add the proper dosage of water conditioner?
