thanks... maybe I'm just overreacting... but he has faded a lot... ...and he stopped making bubble nests... but maybe in his new home... he'll be happier!

I just had to euthanize my favorite betta. Put it off for way too long. Just keep an eye on him and give him some time. He is beautiful. Oh, mine aren’t making bubble nests either right now. May be time of year.

awwe that would be very hard for me... but i don't want my fish to suffer either. i hope he recovers... i lost my little white beta.. and didn't even know anything was wrong.. he was active... making bubble nests eating fine one day.. next he was gone. ?

Have you a cover on your tank. It is most important with Bettas that the air temperature is the same as the water temperature.

yes i do have a cover on the tank... ? thanks for asking.
he was just rubbing himself up on some little stones in his tank... he's black with a gold shimmer..... so it's about impossible to decide if this is velvet or not... he's not acting like his normal bubble blowing self... but he's still eating... and active... so idk anymore.. ?
