Its best to mix SW a few days before you plan on using it.

Its best to mix SW a few days before you plan on using it.

I do mine a day before with no ill effects, but SW can also be stored in a closed container for some time once it's mixed and agitated. Make sure the sg of your tank water matches the sg of the prepared SW, temp should match too.
