my thoughts:
from first glance this shop is nothing special BUT i was pleasently suprised by the health of the inhabitants wich include the biggest selection of cichlids i have ever seen with i am guessing well over 70 tanks they also stock terrapins turtles snakes newts lobsters various and ofcourse a good amount of tropicals for the community hobbiest inc perhanas and i asked is there any fish you dont stock and got the reply "if we havent got it we will get it" lizards the prices are amazing and although the list needs updating due to the staff you can find out more at www.rift-valley-cichlids.co.uk.
the shop floor wasnt exactly tidy but i noticed that for two members of staff the fish , tanks and vivariums were incredibly tidy for staff to maintanance ratio wich firstly tells me they would rather keep happy healthy fish/reptiles than a clean shop floor i was also encouraged by the state of the shop floor when i noticed one member of staff in the middle of making an aquarium and stand wich they sell built to order for dirt cheap e.g 6ft x 2ft x2ft was selling for £195 that incl hood with lights heater and filter excellent i think you'll agree
dont worrie if you cant actually get to the shop yourself as they do a uk delivery service for a fee but believe me when i say the health of these fish and reptiles are excellent no ill fish and none dead water was excellent and very tidy
conclustion excellent shop i will be going back time and time again i highly recomend this shop!
