you say this but then there is petrol for getting to a shop, the time (time is money) i was wondering if there were alternitives that were easier, a baster doesnt sound like it would work,
hes scared of everything and only comes to the front rarely, i think i should just persist with the flakes an pellets

you can use a tube to feed him just drop the flakes/ pellets down it

yeah but if you have some hose pipe or clear tubing you could do that.

I use an old spray bar from a old filter, just take or the cap, pop the tube into the water hopefully you will be able to get near to the bottom, then just drop in some sinking pellet's which will have the security of the tube to stop hungry mouths getting in, then hopefully it will either get taken by the shark, probally take a few attemps, if not it will fall into the gravel then get found when the rts is routing around

if he is growing, active and looks well jet black (not grey) and bright orange/red tail then dont worry he is probably eating from the bottom of the tank and the nooks and crannies when your not looking.

PS remember they have really really small mouths for there size so try crublim the flakes smaller
