I think I've been getting this wrong...

I have 4, and i'm quite sure 2 are male and 2 are female..

Ive already moved what i thought to be a male, into my Roma 240.. and I still have 3 in my Roma 200. Aim is to have a pair in each.

I thought this one was a male... Its been doing all the dancing and digging up to now

Ive moved the other one that looks very much like this into my Roma 240.

Then I have 2 that look more like this. No where near as vivid and without the black spots in the dorsal fin

The brightly coloured one is the female. She has a rounded belly and is more colourful. The males are longer and slimmer. They don’t tend to get the red bellies. I hope that helps.

Ok.. I'm fairly sure I have 4 x females ? oh well!

females are shorter and have a rounded tail, they usually have a bright coloured belly.

males are bigger and have longer dorsal and anal fins, and a pointed tail, and don't normally have much colour on the belly.
