Sexing Flame Tetras

Hello everybody

. I'm currently cycling my 10 gallon tank and I have finally decided what I'm going to stock it with. I am going to put in 6 flame tetras and 2 mystery snails. The mystery snails are already in there because they are cycling my tank. Anyways, since I'm going to add flame tetras im going to put in 2 males and 4 females. I'm not sure how to tell the gender of these, even after doing research. All I have found out was that males are darker then females. But in the stores the fish are probably stressed out so you can't tell their gender because their color is different. Are there any other ways to tell the gender of these fish?

Just want to say first.... What happens if you press ALT + F4??? :unsure:

i want to press it but im too scared to

That aside....

The females will be a tiny bit bigger and bulkier on the front part of the belly, the belly will be a tiny bit more 'swollen' looking and a bit lighter than the rest of the body.

EDIT: Go you for choosing Flame Tetras, they always look drab in shops but they are fantastic little fish and HUGELY underrated!
