Severum Stocking Help.

Measure you tank, L x W x H (from top of substrate to the water line) and work it out. I know the rio 400 is technically supposed to be 400L (hence the 400 in the name) however, from my measurements of mine, taking into account substrate, it works out nearly 500L, take away a bit for displacement.

The 260 even if was 350L not really, because you need a 100g for two IMO, 350L comes out as 92 usg, so OK we're quibbling over 8g, so maybe, I wouldnt, but thats just me.

Iceprizm, your stocking will be fine.

My tank with the substrate works out 60"X19"(at narrowist)24"(at widest because of the bow)X26"

128 USG 486L (without the bow) - 60" being 5ft?

So lets say 60X22X26 to be safe. my 260L is 48X22X26 (taking the bow into consideration)

450L 119 USG

Right can i ask do you have corner tanks or bow fronted tanks because the volumes of the tanks you own don't exist ?

The Venezia corner tank comes in a 190L and 350L
The Vicenza Bow front tank comes in a 180 and 260L
Hagen do not make any other variety and none of their tanks are longer than 122 cm

i have to agree the minimum id put a pair in is a 100 gallon and im talking uk gallons which is 454 litres. basicly a tank 48x24x24 ( inches)

Well if its a bow front tank then what you own is the Vicenza not the Venezia, (The Venezia is equivalent to Juwels trigon range)

Does the larger tank have the Fluval (or Hagen) name on it? I know at My local P@H they have similar looking no name tanks and tbh i think your may be one of these,

My workplace deals with all of the Fluval tanks and they simply don't make any that big

So you have the vincenza, that makes more sense, thanks for clearing that up Davo, thought I was going mad :S:

So Glenbo, your tank holds max (not including substrate/displacement) 356 L = 78 IG or 94 USG :good:
