i have a breeding pair of green severums if anyone wants them

female about 9" male about 6"

I also have a 6" male yellow severum........but hes all MINE!!!

Grrrrrrrrrrr Mr Sevvy is eating all my frogbit little *beep beep* .

I was blaming the apple snails, so I moved them to another tank and Ive just sat and watch him munching away on the roots of the frogbit, which has encouraged the rainbows to investigate what might be so tasty!!

I put a load of twisted vallis in this morning, if the *beep beep* eats that too, hes for the chop I tell ya

Mine ate all my Amazon sword so I decided to buy some Cos lettuce and weight it down, he eats that now !

Only got bogwood and the amazon sword in mine and that was in a pot plant !!!

only the toughest plants will survive with a sev. he may grow out of it mines not as bad as he used to be still has the odd nibble but nothing too major

The vallis survived overnight, purely because the 50 odd frogbit are now down to about 30!!!! I should admit defeat now really not even bother transferring them over to the new tank on Tuesday and say stuff it and get some more fakes shouldnt I? Oh my ideas of a planted tank have gone up in smoke, shot down before I even started Wonder what he thinks of wisteria? Probably use it as an appeatizer

And I got some bamboo sticks covered in Java Moss yesterday from Joshy, apparently he didnt like them, as he decided it would be fun to pull off the moss and scatter it around the tank, not eat it, oh no, just destroy them Grrrrrrrrrrrr. He is no longer known as Mr Sevvy, he is now PooHead the destroyer.

brings back memories. my ideas of a nice planted tank got shot down in flames too the day i got vinny i admitted defeat and went fake . you can get some nice silk plants

I keep going up the the tank and shouting at him to stop and he comes up and wiggles at me in pure delight as if to say 'hey Mum, look how clever I am'

yep mine used to rip off bits of my densa and bring them to the front of the tank as if to say look ive got you a present
