No names yet, if the kids had their way, they'd be Iggle Piggle, Upsie Daisy, Lala, Po, Tinkywinkie & makka pakka

I am sure I will name them eventually, but need to get to know them first, see if I can get away with something girlie lol

no it doe's look alot but that's how mine is set up proir to cramming all the plant's in around, should look good once the plant's are in, just make sure there's lot's of escape hole's

thanks, should get the plants in tomorrow & the bogwood, will make sure there's lots of space to move around between the rocks. I think I am going to need tons more plants though, its not until you put the rock in that you realise how much space you have to fill.

Nice lot of silk arrived this morning, but they are shorter than I had thought & I need tons more, ordered a dozen 12" ones, plus some real should arrive tomorrow, also found a nice hanging silk plant which i'm going to try out.

Still looking a bit bare, but getting there.

Can I have opinions on a background? I'm not really a fan of picture backgrounds, the tank has a few paint marks which I couldnt remove on the back, would you add a background? Maybe just a plain black or blue piece? It should loook better once more taller plants are in & the bogwood will make the mid to upper levels look a bit more filled.

Not a good idea, he's clumsier than me lol, I cant quite get to it, so its gonna have to stay, have brought a background now & will cover the mark with a nice big plant.

I think i'm nearly ready for my little fellas could I be a pain? could I ask for a quick food checklist? I think I have everything & would like to make sure.

Live plants & wood are coming tomorrow, but the other tall silk wont get here till Thursday or Friday, do you think the channa will be ok in there while I fit the new plants in, or should I wait a few more days? There are lots of hiding places among the rocks.

Feeding them a fine mix which i will also send some, then there's finely chopped prawn's,live and dried bloodworm<well soaked> also the adult's eat dried mealworm's they will be fine for a while yet, once the get to around 4-5inches this will prob be the worst time,

thank you can I ask whats in the mix please so I can make more when needed, or is a secret family recipe I have all the other foods already, getting very excited, is that sad? lol I'm getting ready for when the fighting starts & have decided to empty out my 3ft tank to seperate them when needed, i'm hoping to only need to rehome 2, or idealy I will have another tank going by then.

have you been to the Range for plants? they have huge ones ( approx 12inches) for 3,50 and they are really nice too, i know nelly has lots on the surface of his tank for them, so for that price you wouldnt mind breaking them off the holder to float.

tank is looking fab by the way,cant wait to see pics of the babies when they arrive

yes shela said it i just chucked in a load of plant's without there base's, that way no need to root them, hehe, also as they like hanging around it give's them somewhere to rest, Secret family recipe only consist's of
One grinding bowl with the small wooden baseball bat type thing
Threw in some dried meal worm's / tropical fish flake / hilraki cichlid red pellet's / dried bloodworm and some earthworm pellet's...ground this until a very very very fine powder, don't worry to much there already starting to turn nose's up at this, fine chopped prawn's with knife is what there really into at present and blood worm
