I do occasionaly see my amano shrimp eat poo. Never really paid attention to see if they ever carried on eating it lol

A lot of fish will take faeces into their mouth not knowing it has no nutritional value to them, then will spit it out. Highly common in my experience.

As to the sand perhaps we should just create a topic titled 'Thinking sand? Think Argos!' with a few links in it then pin the thing!

i personally prefer toysrus playsand as it has no silt and doesnt need cleaning

thankyou for your comments, so out of curiosity what do you prefer sand or gravel, i am thinking of changing my gravel aquarium to a sand aquarium but im not sure if i should. i want to but is it worth the hassle
