Sand or Gravel ??

We noticed I'm a bit doubtful about my gravel vacing skills though.... *cue vision of mad scientist with a gravel vac and a small tank*

Being a newbie, I bought 100 lb to set up the first tank. If I had put all that in there, there wouldn't have been room for fish.

maybe all of my tanks will change to sand!!

I was always amazed at how it doesn't suck up the sand too. I have sand in my 120 gallon and my sister has it in her 10 gallon. Real easy to clean as you only have to clean small spots or one spot of the tank where the fish waste and leftover food collects. That is what I do anyway.
