Salt w/ Parrots?

I am just wondering if parrots like aqarium salt (just to help clean it when I do water changes). Also I have convicts in the tank and would they like it too or should i just stay with the normal stuff that takes out the chlorine?

yes salt will be fine, i have africans withmy parrots and i add salt to the tank.

oh sry i didnt see the last part about the cons, yea i got cons in the tank too. there also fine.

salt is fine. put salt in over a period of days you dont want to shock them! not to much salt either
