Sakrete Play Sand In A Freshwater Tank

I picked up some of this sand in efforts to use in my freshwater tank. I washed it and it clouded the water slightly. My fishes are currently in a quarantine tank and i need to know if its ok to use this sand since the filter makes a tiny bit of the sand move but barely. So i need to know if i can use this play sand or not.

I use it in my tanks. All my tanks only have snails and plants atm, so it should be safe for fish. Like you said, it does have a lot of silt though.

Its the same sand I use it will be fine. You can go ahead and put your fish back n the cloudniess will go away in a few hours depending on how cloudy it is it cold take up to 24 hours. What part of the filter is moving the sand?

Thanks for the information Yea i just added my fishes and they seem very happy in it. Also the cloudiness is gone. I love Chemi-Pure Elite. Takes away cloudy water so quickly. Well the filter is moving a bit of the sand where the filter out take is located. It has made the sand move and now its not moving anymore. I am going to get blue nocturnal lights and the tank should look pretty cool in it.
