it's something you did a long time ago in a place you no longer live, why post about it now in the present tense?
i've been meaning to post about it for years but never did. then i saw this forum pop up and decided to go ahead and post it as if in present time. i didn't expect to be attacked. but i do apologize for the misleading post.

just wondering . . . if you have 'better things to do' why do you keep clicking on my thread?

i just want to add that Boundava seems to be the only one who has any manners around here. so i think i'll stay. thank you Boundava.❤️ have you put any ground cover in your tank yet? can't wait to hear how the fish like it.:fish:

Ya I hope that you have more positive experiences on this websites
Sometime all the world world will do is give hate just don’t let the hate affect your life

You sound like you have a whole bunch of cool things you used to do and i am excited to hear about them in the future 😁

No I'm kind of scared to put stuff in my tank that I haven't purchased, I know it's silly but I don't pull plants or wood from the "wild". Well let me correct that I have gone to the beach and collected rocks for the tank, and by beach I mean lake Michigan Beach as I live near lake Michigan and there is a beach in Wisconsin with some really nice rocks.
There's a bunch of neat Moss that grows around my neck of the woods too, but I don't know if it's going to do well submerged.
I do have a nice population of creeping jenny in our grass which I am encouraging as I hate actual grass....c'mon on it's a weed people! 😁
But because we use stuff like miracle grow in our garden I would be loath to pull that out of the grass and put it in a tank.
Just call me a 🐔 when it comes to my finned babies.

if that is the purple flowered creeping plant ( we call creeping Charlie ) my FIL was always at war with it, when he lived here on the farm... but after I moved in, I've never sprayed it, while I don't really like it in the yard, I encourage it in the rough areas, that the grass doesn't grow well, as it only goes 8-10 inches tall, so it never has to be mowed, and seems to grow well in rough areas, that are difficult to mow

Ah, manners. Yes. Asking questions isn't an attack; it's an attempt to gather information. To answer your question, I took the time to respond to your thread because I thought your original idea was interesting, but you were saying some things that didn't make sense, and I'm trying to figure out why.

This thread is going in circles with information changing - if you try to follow it from the start it makes no sense. Please try to start any new threads (on other, future subjects) with a thought out presentation of what you're thinking about - grass and creeping charlie are different enough that that should have been made clear from the start. Take that extra minute and communicate what you want to discuss.
I'm locking the thread as it seems the original subject has been changed. Please don't restart it with any other lawn vegetation.
