Depending on your tanks size you have generally 3 options liquid carbon, DIY Co2 (yeast generated) or pressurised Co2 (out of a cylinder). Once a tank gets above 60liter (roughly speaking) LC and DIY Co2 become less practical/cost effective.

Embarressingly, I went home last night and had a look at my 240litre tank and noticed that a lot of my crypts have started melting away! Most frustrating...

Eh, crypts do that, they'll bounce back. :)
 
Okay so I'll need to get my hands on some pressured co2 (not to hard to get.) What type of ferts should i be giving my plants to allow to get what they need. Just so i can get some after Easter weekend. I have changed my lights settings for 6hrs hours instead of the 10hrs I had it set for.
