Id want my heater hidden tho. Looks like it is attached at the back in the middle of the tank. If you have good water flow there is no reason why it cant be hidden in one of the back corners where the taller plants will help to conceal it.

I cant wait for my new plants to grow up and hide my heater and water inlet/outlet pipes.

How about a couple (3) of the smaller Corydora species. They are good fun to watch and wont prevent you adding further shoaling tetra varieties.. and wont eat the baby livebearers.

Plus you could then have Dora 1 Dora 2 and Dora 3 in your tank so the kids will have little Dora the explorers of their very own!

hi there i'm getting 3 more pandas and then maybe 3 or 6 pygmy corys so shou;ld look good then
have moved dora and the 2 starfish into the hospital tank so only got bridge,slate , dino and lighthouses left
the heater will be covered up soon when the plants grow up over it

Nice one sarah your tank is defo going in the right direction, as mentioned above hide the heater away in the corner no need to have that in the middle.

have to get hubby to move the heater lmao i'm only 4 ft 11 and cant reach the back of the tank without standing on something and then i nearlly fall in so when i need something doing in the back of the tank i use him and i supervise -- shout lmao

yes they are lol - the tank is in the kitchen though cos ran out of room in the front room lmao

Fab tank when i saw it without the backgorund was a bit apprehensive but all come together with that back ground! Well done!!!

thanks Truck , the kids really love the tank and my 5 year old now helps with water changes - my 3 year old is allowed to assist with feeding and thats it lol
