One of my red cherry shrimp have a white ring on them, no idea what it is or if it's deadly? Anything I can do to help it? 15892016198701954224932731723574.jpg sorry you can't see the pic well, had an outbreak of cyanobacteria

Hi can you sent me some information I might help :)
I need
Water Parameter.
GH especially,
I believe that is RCS but I can't grade it since the shoot is kinda blocked by the algae.
And how many of them inside this tank?
What kind of tank? Shrimp only?
How long did that shrimp live inside that tank?
Do you acclimate it the right way?
Do you ever see that RCS molting or you see the molt?
Sorry to Ask you a lot but if you provide me the answer I might help.

It's nothing deadly to shrimp :)
It's a lack of calcium in shrimp's diet.
What foods do you feed them? What is your pH, GH and KH of your water?

Drop 1/2 of a Tum’s in tank. Do this once a week and it will provide calcium.

If that's the white ring of death disease then it's probably on live to death Side.
It's really dangerous and deadly.

Hmm. Idk but when I got that disease 1 by 1 my shrimp is dying. And I do some research and most of them said
"If the shrimp failed to molt then the shrimp will have extra Exoskeleton and they can't move their Legs or Head Properly to do the U shape to do the next molt and in some case shrimp can't even poop since the Extra Exoskeleton is blocking the way and lead the shrimp to death." So idk.
But yes it's most of the case is Lack of Calcium
We need water status.
If water too soft ill suggest to add cuttlebone.
