Right Am I Sorted?

My new stocking is
1 Albino Senegal Bichir
5 Zebra Danios
1 Female Siamese Fighter
7 Serpae Tetras
1 Firemouth Cichlid


Isit okay now?

These fish were all recomended by my fish shop.

54 Litre Jewel Korall.

A firemouth cichlid needs a tank more like 3 times the size you have, if not larger.

Danios need to be in groups 6+ and I would never keep them in a tank shorter than 1m as they are very fast and active.

Serpae tetras are notoriously nippy and I would worry about that female fighter in there with them, even if they were the only other fish in the tank with it, but I think every other fish has the potential to have a go at her as well.

Really poor stocking, sorry.

Zebras need a 4ft
Bichir gets way to big for your tank.
Firemouth also too big and will attack the fighter.

No, 54 litres is far too small.

Of all the fish you've got in there, the only one I would keep in that tank is the fighter with a few small, peaceful rasboras.

Ok thanks I will take all back to fish shop except bichir and fighter,
I need some help with something else though, my senegal just grabbed one of my danios from the top and ate him head first should I take the danios out or let him eat them?
Can I primarily feed him on live food?

Like I've already said, the tank is also unsuitable for the bichir, even more so than the firemouth.

Hes only small and is staying in here for 8 months then ill upgrade him to a 20 gallon long for life on his own, now can I feed him zebra danios as my shop sells them at 10p each?

Did you read the link I gave you? Have you done ANY research on this fish? 20 gallons is still far too small.

It's already eaten a danio, it would happily eat your fighter given the chance.

Live fish are a really poor diet and it's actually a legal grey area in terms of animal cruelty.

Return the bichir, you can't house it properly and it's not fair on the fish or anything you try to keep with it.

I think that is more of a reflection on your LFS rather than the people on this forum.
Look at this way, one of the two is trying to make money from you . . . . il give you a hint, its not people on this forum!

Your tank is suitable for all but maybe the SFF. Do the right thing and return the rest.
