You asked if your stocking list was sorted. You got your answer. It is not even close to appropriate. It is unethical to sell an animal to someone who is incapable of caring for it properly, which is the case for you and this bichir.
The bichir in question can grow up to 20 inches long. That requires a minimum of a 4 foot tank, preferrably even larger.
Don't come up here trying to pick a fight. You asked a question and you got an overwhelming answer from a wide range of folks. You can either take the advice of the experienced fishkeepers on this forum who are actually trying to help you, or you can listen to the LFS that is trying to sell you stuff by giving you awful advice. The folks on this forum are looking out for what is best for both you and the fish you are going to have. Most of the folks here don't have to come here to help others with their fish, but they do it because they are passionate about proper fishkeeping. You need to decide what to do, but don't be juvenile in your responses.
If you want to discuss this further, I'm sure folks will continue to advise you. However, if you are just going to be belligerent then you will find yourself banned rapidly.
