Rhinogobius Cf. Clifford Popei

anyone familiar with this goby? rhinogobius wui were unavailable so i was offered these gobies instead. i ordered 6 and introduced them to my low-end brackish and they seem to be doing ok but i havent managed to find much info on them

anyone know anything? neale? : )

Sorry, never heard of this animal. Rhinogobius seem to be hardy and R. duospilus (what used to be called R. wui) is notably salt-tolerant. I've kept that species in 25% seawater without noticing any problems. It's just as active and boisterous as otherwise. Anyway, the place to go for the obscure gobies is the Yahoo gobygroup. There's a mix of hobbyists, collectors, and biologists.

ill try to get some shots and ill post them here but theyre pretty tiny so i dont know how good theyll turn out
