I said before that getting old is not for sissies..... I used to resent any interferance in my fishroom and did not accept any assistance from anyone!.... It was my domain and what needed to be done..... I did it myself.
Now, some 2 weeks ago..... I decided to start training my gardener (multiskilling him) to assist me in the fishroom (bonus payment - of course)..... He would come in for an extra shift once per week (every Thursday) and today.... (only his second Thursday shift).... It's the best decision I've made......
4 of my ponds have been scrubbed and re-setup, My 5ft display tank was fixed today plus 2 other 3 ft's which had slow leaks.... There is a vision of having my fishroom sorted out in the next 3 months.
Since he is new to it, it still requires a lot of input from me,..... but one of these days.... he'll even set out the breeding pairs (and probably start his own business).
