Reminder To Wrap Intake Valve With Foam!

Hi everyone,

I posted about how I brought home an itty bitty about 1" long new girl betta today. Well, I was taking pictures for that thread and what happens? She becomes STUCK to the filter and I had to unplug it so she could swim away. Luckily the filter intake was wrapped in foam or she probably wouldn't have survived. I just added another layer of foam around the valve and she's not being pulled toward it anymore. She's safe but the foam is white, so it looks like there is a huge fluffy white marshmellow inside the tank! lol

That's SCARY. Good reminder, though! Luckily she's alright!

Yeah, I'm so glad I was there to see her. Most bettas have the strength to swim fight the sucking of the filter. . .she's just too tiny at this point.
