The pictures are really small; but from what I can see, it looks like you have a female Jack Dempsey; and if you are sure the Blood Parrot was the one laying the eggs, then there is no way the eggs will be fertilized . . .

Guys, sorry I couldn't fixthe pictures but somthing happened! 2 days ago the eggs all disapeared, and we thought they were gone. Today, I saw around 50 little baby transparent fish!! What should I do!I will try and put pictures of them up later.

I for one would like to see how they turn out. If it's just the parents in the tank then I would leave them with them. Try feeding them powdered fry food or crushed flakes.

@ Y2PK, well guess what? The eggs hatched, and the Red Parrot is Female, and then Jack Dempsey is male. @ T, thank you for replying. I will try and take pictures of them when they are bigger. There is around 50 of them so it is hard to focus. The first 2 days they were born, they were huddled close together, now they swim around preety freely around half the tank. I dont think the parents will bother them, I've never seen a baby get eaten yet. Also, Red Parrot is chasing Jack Dempsey away from the fry.

It'll be really nice to see these guys develop. You may find issues trying to move them on though cause not everyone will take on a hybrid even if they look nice.
