Really Not My Day Today!

Well, first thing this morning my mini aquarium sprang a leak, and had to be closed down.

Now when i get home, I find my newish bulldog pleco... sat on top of the gover glasses dead as a doornail

dang mate it happens to every one

i had a bad week once all my goldfish suddenly started to die nothing wrong with the water or food just went i lost 12 fish in that week so i gave up with goldies and went tropical and havnt realy had any problems ive had a few deaths but not loads

it will get better

Sorry to read your loss, my L444 did not last more than about six weeks last winter. If I ever buy Chaetostoma again, which I would dearly love to, they will be isolated in a turbulent sub-tropical tank to ensure they are feeding after the move from the LFS.

Yes he took quite a few days to even 'start' competing for food...

Yes I think I will leave them be for now until I can afford to setup an even more turbulent subtrop tank! ;p

Ive had fairly good luck in keeping deaths to a minimum (aka natural causes) but i feel for you. I would loose my mind if i lost my discus or my ram. Also my dad just started saltwater and lost four clown fish to "clown fish disease". Hope you feel better and dont let this put a damper on the hobby for you. Just buy some silicone and a better lid and all problems are fixed
