Real Plants

as you can probably see in my tank i have a real plant which is attached to my bog wood, and ive got a few fake plants but i wanto to real as much as i can in place of my current plants but i want something that looks similar.

what can people suggest that is pretty low maintenantce but tjhat grows colourfully or something?

p.s. im still stuck with what i can do with my bog wood as its such an awesome shape i dont want to get rid of it

Are the plants on the left fake? you could swap them for some Vallis. It comes in a very thin variety, grass like and giant. It also comes in wavy too. Very pretty in a group and easy to keep.

Ambulia, Hygrophilla polysperma, Ludwigia, Hydrilla or Elodia, common Amazon swordplant & Narrow Vallis are all good plants to begin with.

java moss would look good attached to those caves, make it all look more natural

my tank is low tech low lighting low ferts no co2 but full of java moss java fern and several speices of anubias which is expensive but its all very low maintanence.........................and slow growing.

Micro sword is like a tall grass and easy to keep and only needs moderate light. I just got some it's pretty cool. Onion plant is hardy and big I love mine. Does fine in moderate light. Get more java fern that's what is growing on your log. Java fern grows any place and on anything great starter plant mine keep haveing babies.

The key to growing plants is only plant what will work with your lighting and substrate. You have to pick plants that work not so much how they look. I would love to have an amazon sword but my lighting is only 1.6 wpg so I don't have any.
